For their fourth annual production at The Triple Door, House of Verlaine Presents
Largesse: A Benefit in The House of Verlaine
This one-night only fundraising event showcases some of the best of House of Verlaine's "Polished and incredibly stylish” (21st Century Burlesque Magazine) repertoire as well as new pieces from the yet in-development Juliet and Her, Romeo that were made possible by financial contributions acquired during House of Verlaine’s 2017 season. Juliet and Her, Romeo is evolving as a darling reimagination of the classic that showcases the company’s technical and artistic reach as well as its progressive values and aesthetic.
"House of Verlaine could very well be the next big thing in both the burlesque and dance scene-its cross-genre approach certainly gives it the ability to appeal to both demographics."~Seattle Dances
Artistic director and burlesque star Lily Verlaine will take the stage in a scandalously decadent new production number and graceful solo performances.
The exclusive VIP experience will bookend the evening with intimate pre and post-show experiences. Tickets to this experience are limited to 75 guests and will include performances, champagne toasts, desserts, and a peek into the mind of Ms. Verlaine in the form of meet-and-greets with the dancers and insights into the creative and rehearsal process that goes into the cultivation of daring classical artistry.
Embedded in the evening are silent and live auctions by charismatic auctioneer Sasha Cousineau. Items will include memorabilia from House of Verlaine, exquisite dining experiences, theater tickets and more.
